THE GIFT MEET

Days are flying by and hours running towards the Gift Fair. It will be a great time to meet and interact with Kenya's top designers as you shop for gifts in preparation for the holiday season.

What is your ideal gift item? Maybe a painting, an exquisite hand crafted carving, a bag?  Or maybe a purse, a belt or a fantastic pair of sandals? Well, look no further. Between the 23rd and 27th November, you will be spoilt for choice on what to get your family, friends, loved ones and maybe yourself for Christmas.

Over 20 designers will be exhibiting their best innovative products designed to meet refined tastes and preferences. Come explore and appreciate Kenya's design potential in the Old Exhibition hall at the Village market every day from 10am to 6pm.

Invitation Letter to Participate in the

East Africa Designer Bags And Accessories Fair

Africa Designers in Development (ADiD) would like to invite you to participate in the above-mentioned exhibition. The exhibition aims to showcase high-end bags and accessories designed and made in East Africa for the elite class.

Bags have become irreplaceably the biggest alley to both men and women of all ages all over the world. This is mainly due to the increased number of items that people have found necessary to carry along these days; from cell phones to flash disks, external drives, laptops, diaries, lunch boxes, make-up kits, credit, cards etc.

The East African market is well aware of this fact hence the proliferation of various bags and accessories from all over the world but mainly China. A few of these bags however present the authenticity, uniqueness and convenience sought by the High End Market. Although this market segment represents small percentage of the East African population, they hold the biggest percentage of disposable income.

It is on the above ground that ADiD is calling on East African designers of high end bags to step out and showcase their exquisite designs to the above audience at the village market. Through this platform, exhibiting designers will not only transact business but also, promote and distinguish their products as top of the range in the East African region.

The exhibition will take place between 21st to 24th July 2011, at The Village Market
